Man charged for relationship with underage teen

A Midvale man stands accused of 15 felonies and a misdemeanor, in connection to a sexual relationship he allegedly had with a 15-year-old girl. Terrance Jamal Hutcherson, 20, has been charged with five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony; five counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, a third-degree felony; five counts of dealing in harmful materials to a minor, also a third-degree felony; and enticing a minor, a class A misdemeanor. According to charging documents Hutcherson and the victim allegedly engaged in sexual activity in a hotel room from Sept. 1-3, and investigators found evidence of such conduct on Facebook Messenger.

During the course of the investigation officers also found 109 pictures of the victim "in various stages of undress" as well as numerous pictures of Hutcherson's genitals that he had shared with the victim through those same conversations on Facebook Messenger.
